Commercial contracts
Your business and its continued success depend upon the contracts you have and how these are drafted.  We have experienced lawyers who have worked both in industry and private practice which means we can provide you with practical, commercial advice, ensuring your contracts work for you and not against you.

We have experience in a wide range of industry sectors and can advise on all contracts affecting your business, including trading over the internet, supply and purchase agreements, IT contracts, invitations to tender, distribution, agency and outsourcing arrangements, as well as the standard trading terms and service agreements every commercial business requires.

Large or small, all businesses benefit
Many of our clients are medium to large businesses where contracts are needed in complex deals.  We regularly deal with contracts worth millions of pounds, dollars and euros.  However, we are quite at home drafting contracts for smaller values where normal terms of business are not quite enough.

One such client is a TV set builder, where the contract we advised on was their first with a big industry player and they wanted to ensure that each parties' roles and responsibilities were clearly defined.

Often, companies looking to trade abroad need our advice and expertise in international trading law and we regularly deal with trading contracts subject to International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) standard terms.  We have experience in dealing with commodity trading and financial instruments across the globe.

Franchises – entering the Dragons’ Den
We handle many franchise contracts, from hairdressers to opticians and estate agencies, either on behalf of the franchise owner or the franchisee. A new client approached us when his product received support on television’s Dragons’ Den. His product has huge marketing potential and we are advising him on his many contractual needs.
